This ImmiAid Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) describes the principles and processes we use to safeguard your personal information and how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services and visit our website. While using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy. This Policy applies to ImmiAid and to anyone who delivers services on our behalf. Who are we
ImmiAid is a registered Canadian charity organization that offers services tailored to meet the specific needs and circumstances of newcomers. These include services in areas such as language acquisition, counselling on accessing the job market, credential recognition for internationally trained professionals, housing referrals, family counselling, health (including mental health) information and linkages, citizenship tests support, access to sports and recreation, system navigation, and community engagement. ImmiAid Global collects and process personal information through the following area of its services:
- Pre-Landing Services: Pre-arrival counselling Services are offered to those residing outside Canada.
- Post-Landing Services: Our service covers complete resources and assistance necessary for newcomers settling in Canada.
- Ancillary Services: We offer a wide array of other services for the well-being of our customers irrespective of age group, gender, social class, and so on.
- Programs: We conduct various programs for creating awareness regarding licence, foreign credentials, protection from abuse, legal matters, etc.
Further, ImmiAid Global accepts donations and utilizes the funds for charity activities. Thus, we may require you to provide personal information while using our tools and services for charities to ensure transparency to individuals. Personal information collected will be utilized as per this Policy.
Personal Information
Personal information means information about an identifiable individual. We collect various types of personal information needed to provide services to our clients. This includes personal information such as:
- Name, home/residential address, contact information (email, phone), age, sex, marital or family status
- Identifying number, immigration, and residency status
- Employment and educational history

How your personal information is collected?
We primarily collect client's personal information directly from the clients themselves. We may collect the client's information from other persons with the client's consent or as authorized by law. We update our clients, before or at the time of collecting personal information, of the purposes for which the information is being collected. The only time we do not provide this notification is when the client volunteers personal information for an obvious purpose (for example, donating an amount using a credit/debit card when the information is used only to process the payment). We use different methods to collect information from and about our clients, including the following:
- Direct interactions: You may give us your identity details, contact numbers, financial personal information and transaction details by filling in forms or by confirming them by post, phone, email or otherwise with us. This includes personal information you provide when you:

- Technical Personal information from:

- Digital marketing service platforms such as Hootsuite, Fuel Cycle, MailChimp, and Sprout Social;
- Advertising networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Google Adwords, DoubleClick, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. We employ unique tracking codes in our emails and pixels on our website to exchange your technical information with such providers to track our site's use (including ad performance) and retarget ads.
