International Scholarship Program

ImmiAid Student Awards 2023-24

ImmiAid Immigrant Aid Society, Canada, offers five financial need scholarships annually. The requirements are broad.
Up to $10,000 (A variable number of scholarships available)

• The Applicants need to have grades of over 70% and demonstrate financial need.
• The Applicant must be an Indian resident and Indian Citizen who has completed post-secondary education in a recognized Institution in India without backlogs.
• The Applicant should have attained English proficiency equivalent to at least 6.00 in each of the four IELTS band requirements with an overall minimum score of 7.0 when applying for admission to the study program in Canada.
• The Applicant should not have a study gap of more than two years. A study gap may be justified only when the Applicant’s documents testify to a full-time work experience for the period.

ROUND 1 - Before Applying to a Canadian College/University as an International Student:
Submit your student resume to secure a place in the pool to receive an ITA (Invitation to Apply).

ROUND 2 - When You Receive an Invitation to Apply from ImmiAid International Scholarships Program:
Submit your complete application package, including Academic Credentials, Recommendations, IELTS Test Scorecard, Statement of Purpose, and Student Budget.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS CEREMONY:
This ceremony will be scheduled in Toronto/Halifax/Winnipeg. All scholarship recipients and their families will be invited. An applicant’s inability to attend the awards ceremony in person will not impact their eligibility for a scholarship.
